Osteopathy is a system of diagnosis and treatment using specific manipulations and manoeuvres. It is effective in prevention, evaluation and treatment disorders affecting not only the neuro–musculoskeletal system but also the craniosacral (link between the skull, the vertebral column and the sacrum) and visceral (actions on the mobility of internal organs).
Osteopathy is used, for example due to a trauma, when the balance between structure and function is altered (mobility restriction and loss of movement in part of our body). Specific therapies are aimed at restoring the correct balance and a general feeling of well-being.
